Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What type of products and services do you provide?
A. Good question! We are a full service shop and offer a wide range of products and services. To see a full listing and description of what we can offer you, check out the "Products" and "Industries" tabs in the navigation bar above, or click on "home" to browse (scroll through) our homepage.
Q. How do I go about getting an estimate from you?
A. Well, since you are here, we would suggest you use our online estimate request form. Otherwise, just give us a call at 800.325.6622 or fax us a request at 508.754.3108. We'll always respond within 24 hours; most of the time same day. If you need it sooner, just tell us and we'll do our best.
Q. How long does it take for you to complete my order?
A. Most manufactured or "making" orders will take 5-10 business days. Anything we have in stock that doesn't require printing is usually shipped within 48 hours or less. Some items can take longer depending on their complexity. Just let us know what you need and we'll generally make it happen.
Q. What are your Pre-press Requirements?
A. ACCEPTABLE FORMATS: The most time and cost effective formats for artwork submission are Adobe Illustrator files (Mac OS version CS3 or earlier) saved as either .AI, .EPS, or .PDF with all text converted to vector outlines. Graphics/logos may be vector or raster format. If raster format, please adhere to these resolution settings:
BITMAP: 1200 dpi for black and white line art and graphics containing textual elements
TIFF: 300 dpi for grayscale graphics. If the graphic contains text, increase resolution to 600 dpi minimum.
JPEG: 300 dpi for grayscale graphics. If the graphic contains text, increase resolution to 600 dpi minimum.
If you cannot supply an Adobe Illustrator .Ai, .EPS, or .PDF, we can work with the following applications, but their use incurs a $50 reformatting charge: Quark Xpress 6.0/InDesign CS3 (Mac OS): Please include fonts (Open Type, or Type 1 for Mac OSX only) and images. Adobe Photoshop CS3 or earlier (Mac OS): PSD, TIFF, EPS, PDF, JPEG. If your PSD file contains text layers, convert them to vector outlines. For more detailed information on our Pre-press Requirements, click here, or the navigation tab above that says "Prepress Req".
Q. What is the Pantone Matching System?
A. The Pantone Matching System (PMS) is a color reproduction standard in which colors all across the spectrum are each identified by a unique, independent number. The use of PMS allows us to match colors (plus or minus one shade) and maintain color consistency throughout the printing process.
Q. What would be my shipping costs?
A. We ship via UPS Ground, unless otherwise requested. Shipping charges will vary depending on the product ordered/manufactured, weight and final destination. We are happy to provide you with approximate shipping charges at the time of quotation or upon request.
