A-Size Envelopes

All A sizes have seal flaps that come halfway down the back of the envelope and corners that are pointed (not rounded at all), giving a very nice, conservative appearance. The seal flaps overlap the back panel of the envelope by about an inch, creating a low throat that looks attractive when you open the envelope but makes the envelope not auto-insertable.
All of these sizes can be lined with your choice of colored paper, such as metallic gold or silver or any of more than 2 dozen colors.

There are Six (6) popular A Sizes, with A-7 being the favorite.
A-2: 4-3/8″ x 5-3/4″
A-6: 4-3/4″ x 6-1/2″
A-7: 5-1/4″ x 7-1/4″
A-8: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/8″
A-9: 5-3/4″ x 8-3/4″
A-10: 6″ x 9-1/2″
To get around the problem of non auto-insertability, we do have cutting dies that work just fine, but the seal flaps are shorter and the throats are only ½” deep, so in a design sense, they really are no longer the A style.
